Rapid Determination of Antioxidant Irganox 1076 in Polyethylene

A method was established to quickly determine the content of antioxidants in polyethylene by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. By analyzing FTIR spectra antioxidant Irganox 1076 and PE, characteristic peak PE determined be absorption at 1738cm-1. According standard curve antioxidant, had a good linear relationship with intensity its peak, regression coefficient equation 0.97363. The relative error less than 7%. is accurate reliable, allowing for rapid quantitative analysis trace polyolefin.
